Westside Coalition Elects 2026 At-Large Board Members at Annual Meeting
The Westside Coalition held its 2026 annual meeting this week, bringing together residents and stakeholders from across the west side to reflect on the past year and help shape what comes next. A key part of the meeting was the election of three At-Large Board Members, with five candidates running for the open seats.
With strong participation and engagement, the following candidates were elected to serve on the board:
- Dan Strong
- Sandra Hollins
- Justice Morath
All five candidates brought meaningful perspectives and a clear commitment to the west side, and we appreciate everyone who stepped forward to run.
A total of 73 ballots were cast, with each voter able to select up to three candidates. The final vote totals were:
- Dan Strong: 55 votes (75.3%)
- Sandra Hollins: 48 votes (65.8%)
- Justice Morath: 39 votes (53.4%)
- David Durr: 27 votes (37%)
- Anthony Washburn: 20 votes (27.4%)

In addition to voting, attendees also shared where they live or work, highlighting the broad geographic representation that makes up the Coalition. Participants came from across the west side, with the largest shares from Rose Park (35.8%) and Fairpark (28.4%), followed by Poplar Grove (14.9%), Westpointe (10.4%), Glendale (9%), and a small number from Jordan Meadows.

As an annual process, these elections are an important way the community helps guide the Coalition’s leadership and priorities. We look forward to the contributions of our newly elected board members and to continuing to build momentum together in 2026.
