The Westside of Salt Lake City has historically been under-reported on the previous U.S. Census. The Westside Coalition has sought a grant to promote and inform Westside residents about the Census and the importance of being counted.
An action plan has been assembled to improve the count on the Westside thereby ensuring that adequate resources flow to this part of the Valley consistent with the Census count and the needs of the residents represented by such a count.
