Last year I ran and did not quite make the cut. But being runner up when a spot opened the Coalition asked me to join as an interim member at large. In the short time I have been on the board I have been able to help on a number of key Westside issues. I helped push back against the state overreach on the city and how we decide how to design our streets. I helped push the city for more traffic safety on the Westside. And I have helped fight against the ICE internment facility being planned the industrial area of Poplar Grove. There are many great and engaged people here and whether I’m on the board or not, I am going to keep building with you all. But I feel that staying on the board will help me be the most effective.

Statement of interest:
I love serving Westside neighborhoods. I’ve been serving on the Coalition for many years, including the last four as President. I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish together, and I would like to continue that work. I welcome others stepping up to help and would honestly be happy to transition out of my leadership position in the not too distant future. For now, though, I think I can still be helpful on the board.
